Brilliant late session at Shoreham for me. 6-8pm ish on 4m ezzy. That sail
is always the signal for good times and the combination of enough wind (for
once) with bigger swell didnt dissapoint. It just meant you could fire it
down the line and have a bit of power. Wave after wave linking turns.
Caught a big set in line with the church and kicked out in line with
Surfladle. Not done that before. Even the shorebreak was an option,
opening up cos of the angle to the shore. Kept heading back upwind, but
wasting it all downwind every time!! Probably dipped into the cookie jar
one time too many and Shoreham sent me a timely reminder not to be greedy.
Boom end into the face, tooth through lip. Luckily just a fatty, no
stitches. Quid pro quo.
